The Cellpad pad is based on medical foam which is used in mattresses to prevent bedsores. This product has been further developed and with some adjustments this is the perfect pad for your horse. The Cellpad has the ability to adapt to the ambient and body temperature. At lower temperatures, the material feels harder and has a high viscosity. When the Cellpad reaches a temperature of 29.5 degrees it will feel softer and becomes elastic.The CellPad molds to the contours of the horse’s back and therefore forms a stable base for the position of breastplate or saddle. Its self-regulating properties create an ideal ergonomic weight distribution. It dampens shock and relieves pressure points.
When the pad becomes warm due to your horse’s body temperature the foam acquires the characteristic properties of gel.
